    ASHLAND INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL: The 13th annual showcase of independent films continues today at the Varsity Theatre, 166 E. Main St.; Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St.; Ashland Springs Hotel, 212 E. Main St.; and Ashland Street Cinemas, 1664 Ashland St. The festival lineup features 97 feature films, documentaries and shorts from Oregon and around the world, including a few Oscar nominees and winners.     THE ASHLAND CO-DEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL: For this year's festival, the Bad Film Society presents Trent Harris' "The Beaver Trilogy" and a series of short films starting at 6 p.m. in the basement of the Ashland Elks Lodge, 255 E. Main St. Admission costs $4. See www.badfilmsociety.org. Attendees are asked to bring any bad DVDs, tapes or books they wish to give away. The event will begin with a potluck dinner.
