  • Wynnelle Hansen passed away in her home peacefully with family and friends around her March 26, 2014.
    She was born in Cartersville, Georgia, August 12, 1929, to James Leonard Morgan and Ethel Collum.
    Wynnelle came out to the Wild West with her husband September 5, 1958, to be married for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake City temple. She worked in pediatric research for four years at the University of Washington, helping her husband through college, where she earned her PHT Putting Hubby Through degree. She worked two years in Provo to put her husband through school at Brigham Young University. She dedicated 40 years of her life to genealogical research, helping and teaching others. She taught adult education classes in quilting and genealogy through the Parks and Recreation Service. She was the director of her churches genealogy library for nearly 25 years and served as a Relief Society president twice. Wynnelle was a dedicated quilter and donated many hours of service in making baby quilts for the local hospitals. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and sewing.
    She is survived by her husband, Marco E. Hansen; son, Brent; daughter, JoLynne; and sister, Martha Wood. She will be missed by many. We love you mom.
