  • Emergency responders had to free a female passenger who received minor injuries when the Ford Explorer she was riding in flipped over after being struck by a Honda minivan around 11:20 Sunday morning.
The Explorer was headed north on Biddle Road, while the Honda was going west on East Jackson.
The two-vehicle accident blocked the intersection of Biddle and Jackson and closed northbound Biddle for more than an hour while paramedics and firefighters worked to remove the passenger, who was transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Medford police cited the driver of the minivan for running a red light. Police declined to identify the occupants.
