  • The Crater Lake Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, at the Rogue Valley Genealogy Library, 3405 S. Pacific Highway, Medford.
    A program on the "Indian Jenny Quilt" will be presented by Pat Harper. Members will also vote on officers for the coming term and plan the end-of-the-year meeting scheduled for June 21.
    All current and prospective members are invited to attend.

    Local arborist Casey Roland will lead a tour of native and exotic trees at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, on the Southern Oregon University campus, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.
    The tour will start at the west SOU entrance near the palm trees by the Stevenson Union.
    This tour is approved by the Oregon Landscape Contractor's Board as a continuing education course.
