    RANDALL THEATRE: "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" plays at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday, and May 8-10. Matinees are at 1 p.m. Sundays, May 4 and 11. Fast-paced, witty and irreverent, the play follows Pseudolus, a young slave who struggles to win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted, courtesan named Philia for his master in exchange for his freedom.     MUSICAL THEATER AT PHOENIX HIGH: "Once Upon a Mattress," an irreverent and goofy take on the fairy tale "The Princess and the Pea," plays at 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, May 1-3, at the Rose Street Theatre at Phoenix High School, 745 Rose St., Phoenix. Tickets cost $10, $8 for seniors, $5 for students, and can be purchased at Ray's Food Place in Phoenix or at the door. The play debuted off-Broadway in 1959 at the Phoenix Theatre, making a star out of up-and-coming comedian and singer Carol Burnett. It's a musical tribute to all who find love with unlikely partners.
