Mike "Elvis" Bogart passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. He was born January 30, 1959 in Medford, Oregon.
He fought wildfires with a team of firefighters known as the "Hot Shots" from Pacific Oasis. Mike was well known for his Elvis impersonations and kind disposition. He warmed the hearts of many members of the Medford community. His sense of humor and sweet smile will be missed very much.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Rodriguez; and his many siblings, Jeff Bogart, Duane Bogart, Valentine Gass, Reeva Bogart, Deana Anderson, and Carol McCollum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville Ray Bogart and Jeanetta Matilda Green.
A Celebration of Life potluck will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Cotton Memorial in Lithia Park. Please join family and friends in honoring a genuinely good man.
