  • Patrick Shed had 73 yards rushing, 76 receiving and returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown, leading the Southern Oregon Renegades to a 48-37 victory over the Clark County Vipers in a Pacific Football League shootout Saturday at Spiegelberg Stadium.
    Shed's long kickoff return gave the Renegades a 14-6 lead in the second quarter and they outscored the visitors 20-3 in the second to build a 34-9 halftime lead.
    The win improved Southern Oregon to 3-0 heading into next Saturday's game against the Portland Raiders at Pioneer Stadium.
    Also for the Renegrades, quarterback Anthony Gonzalez completed 12 of 23 passes for 231 yards and four touchdowns, and Alvin Thornton had 11 catches for 67 yards.
    For Clark County of Vancouver, Wash., Kyle English completed 19 of 23 passes for 394 yards and Tylan Lang had five catches for 179 yards.
