Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Justin Dwayne Brewer, 28, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Brewer on charges of possession of heroin and failure to appear for a charge of delivery of heroin. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Assault — Jesselee Franklin Silva, 21, of the 3300 block of Wellington Drive, Medford. Silva Thursday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Alicia Marie Coffman, 32, no known address. Sheriff's deputies Thursday arrested Coffman on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail on $40,000 bail.

Crime reports

  • Theft, vandalism — 900 block of Chevy Way, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:27 a.m. Thursday of a theft of a battery charger. A golf cart and fence were also vandalized. The loss was valued at $1,200.
  • Theft — 300 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 1:26 p.m. Thursday of a theft of a stereo, pair of sunglasses and miscellaneous compact discs. A vehicle also was damaged. The loss was valued at $900.
  • Theft — 1500 block of Ridge Way, Medford. Medford police took a report at 5:38 p.m. Thursday of a theft of golf clubs. The loss was valued at $1,600.
