  • More than 20 bands will perform throughout the three-day Apple Jam Music Festival, which is a benefit for local schools and Sanctuary One, a nonprofit animal care farm in the Applegate Valley. The live music will include the Kyle Gass Band, Shaky Feelin’, World’s Finest, Moksha, Rainbow Girls, Dark Matter Transfer, Blue Lotus, Cold River City, Todo Mundo and more.

    Rogue Valley bands 100 Watt Mind, Jive Coulis, Frankie Hernandez, Organik Time Machine, Patchy Sanders, The Whrorsky Shaw-Shaw, Buckle Rash, The Illies, Eight Dollar Mountain, Ol’ Mount’n Due, BROTHER and Good Job Honey also will perform.     The festival is Friday through Sunday, May 16-18, at Full Bloom Eco-Farm (home of Rise Up! Artisan Bakery), 3000 Yale Creek Road, Jacksonville. Weekend passes cost $55; day passes cost $25 for Friday, $30 for Saturday and $20 for Sunday and will be available at the gate. Weekend passes can be purchased in advance for $50 at www.brownpapertickets.com.
    Kids 9 and younger get in free. Free parking and camping is available. It costs $30 to park an RV or trailer. Visitors will receive a discount of $5 for donating five items of nonperishable food at the gate. Call 503-502-4279 or email applejammusicfestival@gmail.com.
