  • GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers have signed undrafted Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla, along with defensive end Khyri Thornton, their third-round draft pick, safety Charles Clay and defensive end Luther Robinson.

  • GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers have signed undrafted Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla, along with defensive end Khyri Thornton, their third-round draft pick, safety Charles Clay and defensive end Luther Robinson.
    The Packers also released tight end Raymond Webber on Monday.
    Lyerla caught 34 passes for 565 yards and 11 touchdowns during his three seasons at Oregon.
    Lyerla saw his draft status drop after leaving the Ducks program during the middle of last season and getting arrested and pleading guilty to drug charges.
    Thornton had 39 tackles in 11 games last season with Southern Mississippi. He finished his career with 116 tackles and 51/2; sacks.
    Clay played in 12 games with six starts and 69 tackles as a senior at Hawaii last season. He spent his first two seasons at SMU.
    Robinson had 24 tackles and a fumble recovery in 13 games with Miami last season.
