    • Drugs — Ezequiel Ibarra Castellanos, 37, of Ceres, Calif. Oregon State Police Thursday arrested Castellanos on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
    • Burglary — Scott Raymond Elam, 25, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Elam on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree trespassing, driving under the influence of intoxicants, third-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a probation violation for a charge of third-degree robbery. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Assault — Eric Wayne Tiry, 34, of the 5400 block of Butte Falls Highway, Eagle Point. Sheriff's deputies Friday arrested Tiry on charges of fourth-degree felony assault, fourth-degree assault, strangulation, resisting arrest and harassment. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail.
    • Burglary — Jordan Alise Farris, 22, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Farris on charges of first-degree burglary, third-degree theft, resisting arrest, providing false information to a police officer and failure to appear on charges of providing false information to a police officer and possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $59,000 bail.
    • Drugs — Steven Patrick Childers, 44, of the 100 block of South Third Street, Central Point. Childers Friday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
    • Drugs, theft — Gabriel Salas Ibarra, 23, of the 3200 block of Antelope Road, White City. Ibarra Friday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
    • Burglary — Lacey Jane Bryant-Lovrin, 26, no known address. Phoenix police Friday arrested Bryant-Lovrin on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, possession of heroin and possession of a burglar's tools. She was lodged in jail on $39,000 bail.
    Crime reports
    • Burglary — 300 block of Morningside Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 11:07 a.m. Thursday of a burglary to a residence during which two watches, a necklace, prescription medication and a Playstation were taken. The loss was valued at $2,550.
    • Vandalism — 100 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 12:31 p.m. Thursday of vandalism to a sculpture. The loss was valued at $1,000.
    • Theft — 2500 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:39 a.m. Friday of a theft from a motor vehicle during which miscellaneous jewelry was taken. The loss was valued at $900.
