  • The Children's Heritage Fair at Hanley Farm will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 31.
    Children and family members can step back in time and learn to churn butter, to make candles and to milk a cow. Displays and interactive demonstrations will include heritage breed animals, chickens, goats and donkeys. There will be garden tours, music and dancing, an Oregon Trail presentation and local foods.
    Admission is $4, with children 2 and under admitted free. Hanley Farm, operated by the Southern Oregon Historical Society, is at 1053 Hanley Road, Central Point. For more information, call 541-773-6536, ext. 1002, or see www.hanleyfarm.org.
