    2PIONEERING GHOSTS: The community of Buncom may have little in the way of people, but Southern Oregon's most famous ghost town does have Buncom Days. The free Saturday event (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) includes a noon parade, the "chicken splat contest," a barbecue lunch, music and crafts. To get there, head to Ruch, go south on Upper Applegate Road for three miles, then turn east and go another three miles on Little Applegate Road. See buncom.org.
    3 HISTORY IS FOR KIDS: Children can dig into history from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Heritage Fair at Historic Hanley Farm. Hands-on events include butter churning, making candles and learning to milk a cow. There are chickens, goats, donkeys, music, dancing and more. Admission is $4, children 2 and under get in free; Hanley Farm is at 1053 Hanley Road; see www.hanleyfarm.org.
    4BATTER UP: Grab your sunscreen, buy a beer or your favorite soft drink and settle in for America's pastime, as the Medford Rogues baseball team takes on the Seattle Cheney Studs at 5:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:05 p.m. Sunday at Harry & David Field in Medford.     5 MUSIC TO YOUR EARS: The 60-members of the Jefferson State Choral Coalition will stretch their vocal chords in two Spring Fling concerts, taking on everything from "Proud Mary," and "Ticket to Ride" to "Zombie Jamboree." The concerts will begin at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday in the Music Recital Hall at Southern Oregon University. Tickets are $10, $5 for students and children. See jeffersonstatechoralcoalition.com.
