  • Fred Daryle Britt went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, May 30, 2014 at his home in Central Point.
    Fred was born in Portland, Ore. to Burl and Ruby Britt. He married Annie Turner, February 14, 1987 at Applegate Christian Fellowship.
    Fred graduated from Medford Senior High in 1963 then worked in the timber industry, timber faller as a heavy equipment operator and project manager for Croman Helicopter. He worshipped at Mountain Church, was a board member of Trail of Life for young men and an active member of Wilderness Trails and a member of Rogue Snowmobile. Hobbies included huckleberry picking, hunting, fishing, trail riding on his side by side and snowmobiling. Another joy was watching his granddaughter Megan play softball. He was a lover of Jesus Christ and shared the gospel.
    He is survived by his wife, Annie; daughter, Kim Ayres (Gary); grand-daughter Megan; son, Jim Britt (Kim): granddaughter Taylor; son; Chad Bostwick; grandchildren, Bradley, David, Samantha and Ryleigh; son, Drew Bostwick (Anna); Skyler, Aric, Bronwyn and Val; Sisters, Marlene Britt of Myrtle Creek and Nancy Craig of Central Point; brothers, Gary Britt of Medford and Burl Britt Jr. of New York; many nieces and nephews and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by brothers, Oliver Britt and Tom Britt; and parents Burl and Ruby Britt.
    Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m June 5, 2014 at Perl & Siskiyou followed by a Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. June 5, 2014 at Mountain Church.
    Memorial contributions can be made to Mountain Church or Wilderness Trails in memory of Fred Britt.
