    Erickson, Rogues cruise past Redding

  • REDDING, Calif. — The Medford Rogues scored three runs in the top of the second inning en route to a 5-1 victory over the Redding Colt 45s in nonleague action Tuesday.

  • REDDING, Calif. — The Medford Rogues scored three runs in the top of the second inning en route to a 5-1 victory over the Redding Colt 45s in nonleague action Tuesday.
    Brandon Erickson earned the victory after allowing one earned run, four hits and one walk and striking out six in seven innings.
    Clayton Meyer scored with two outs in the second before Ramon Laureano hit an RBI single and Blaine Tanner came home after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
    Laureano and Yuto Kata went 2-for-3 and Chris DeVito was 2-for-5 with a two-run single in the ninth for the Rogues (2-4-1).
