  • WILSONVILLE — Crater graduate Gracie Tostenson won the 5,000 and 3,000-meter runs at the two-day BorderDuel Track Classic, which concluded Sunday with a track meet at Wilsonville High School.
    Tostenson clocked 18 minutes, 13 seconds to seize the victory in the 5,000 at Lewis & Clark College on Saturday and turned in a time of 10:21 in Sunday's 3,000. The event features some of the top track and field athletes from Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
    Fellow Comet Jordan Monroe also fared well in both events. The sophomore grabbed third in the 5,000 with a time of 18:38 and took ninth in the 3,000, finishing in 11:06.
    North Valley's Kerissa D'Arpino won both the 400 and 200 and Grants Pass got wins from Dustin Harrah in the high jump (6 feet, 8 inches) and Drake Brennan in the discus (167-11).
