  • A California man remains in the Jackson County Jail after police pulled him over near Medford Friday night and found more than two pounds of cocaine in his car.
    West Sacramento resident Jay Guadalupe Barragan, 42, remains in the jail on charges of delivery, manufacture and possession of cocaine. His bail is set at $65,000, records show.
    A release from the Oregon State Police says a trooper pulled Barragan over for a traffic violation on Interstate 5 near milepost 32 at 8:07 p.m. Friday. He drove a Toyota Tacoma.
    Police searched the vehicle and found 2.2 pounds of cocaine inside. The drugs' estimated value is about $40,000.
