  • Volunteers are needed for several duties at the Phoenix Community Center, located in the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenix, 121 W. 2nd St.
    The Phoenix Community Kitchen needs kitchen volunteers to help shop, prep, cook and clean up for free community dinners served from 5 to 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. For more information, leave a message for volunteer coordinator Carolyna Marshall at 541-543-6874.
    The Phoenix Community Pantry needs helpers for a variety of jobs from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays. For more information, leave a message for pantry manager Glenda Crenshaw at 541-613-4890.
    The Phoenix Food Project is seeking neighborhood coordinators to recruit food donors and pick up the donations once every other month.
