Drinking Water plays a mixture of reggae, ska and punk rock for a sound that is reminiscent of Rancid and NOFX at times, while more akin to Sublime at others.

The trio — Henry (guitar and vocals), Perro (bass) and Bilo (drums) — formed in 2008 in Yuma, Ariz., and has since relocated to Las Vegas. The band released its self-titled, debut album in July 2011. Drinking Water is currently on tour in support of its new CD, "Life is Movement."

Drinking Water will play at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at Milagros Fresh Mexican, 1465 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. The cover costs $5.
