    THE ASHLAND CITY BAND performs for free at 7 p.m. every Thursday through Aug. 14 at the Butler Band Shell in Ashland's Lithia Park. The community band, directed by Don Bieghler, will dedicate its show this week to the late Harry Kannasto, a long-time member. Look for solo and concert selections from the big-band era.
