  • Asante CEO Roy Vinyard and former Medford mayor Lindsay Berryman have been named to the People's Bank of Commerce board.
Vinyard joined Asante — the region's largest employer, with more than 4,200 employees in Jackson and Josephine counties — as president and chief executive officer in 1999.
Vinyard has been recognized nationally by the American Hospital Association for his advocacy and by Oregon Business magazine as one of the Top 50 Oregon Business Movers and Shakers. He serves on the American Hospital Association Health Care Systems Governing Council and as a state delegate for the American Hospital Association Regional Policy Board.
Berryman, a former Medford mayor, is currently the owner and president of Sacca di Italiana, a business which imports and sells leather handbags. Previously, she worked as a residential real estate agent with Van Horn Real Estate and founded and developed the Cookie Connection.
Berryman was appointed to the Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission and the Oregon Progress Board by Gov. John Kitzhaber. She also served on the Medford City Council and Medford Urban Renewal Agency and was a member of the National and Regional Advisory Councils of the Small Business Administration.
