Green Tea and Chive Dip

1 cup cream cheese or drained yogurt
1 teaspoon matcha (powdered green tea)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup minced fresh chives
1 clove garlic, finely minced
Chive blossoms for garnish, optional

Combine the cream cheese or yogurt, matcha, salt, chives and garlic. Cover tightly and refrigerate.

When serving, garnish with purple chive blossoms, if desired, for a lovely color contrast. Serve with crackers or chips.

Makes about 11/4 cups dip.
