The vineyard consists of 21-year old self-rooted vines that were planted with cuttings from Italy. They produce luscious Cabernet, Chardonnay, and other grapes. Red wines include:
2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, SILVER MEDAL WINNER in the World of Wine, 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007 Claret (a British term properly pronounced Clair-‘ett) means a Red Bordeaux Blend, 2008 Sonata Viognier, and a 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.
Caprice Vineyards is also the home to Rolling Hills Alpacas. The wine tasting is done within the country store, which also offers unique items such as alpaca fiber, sweaters, hats, gloves, and scarves, jewelry, hand spun yarns, and other intriguing tidbits, too.
