Event raises money for breast cancer center

The fifth annual Ladies Flair event raises breast cancer awareness and money from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Rogue Regency Inn & Suites, 2300 Biddle Road, Medford.

The event includes booths from more than 35 businesses with products of interest to women, free hors d'oeuvres, and a raffle for for numerous gift baskets. Raffle tickets are $5 each or $20 for five.

Raffle proceeds and 50 percent of profits from the Regency Grill and Chadwicks Pub & Sports Bar from 4 p.m. to closing today will be donated to the Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Center's fund for charitable mammography at Providence Medford Medical Center. Kate Newgard, a nurse navigator from the center, will provide information on breast cancer and early detection.

Admission is free. Men and women are welcome, organizers said.
