Russell Sadler’s daily radio and television commentaries were heard on broadcast stations in Oregon, southwest Washington and northern California for more than 30 years. His weekly newspaper column appeared regularly in newspapers including The Oregonian, the Eugene Register-Guard and the Mail Tribune.
Sadler covered every Oregon legislative session from 1971 to 1991. He taught journalism and environmental studies at Pacific University, Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Coos Bay, the University of Oregon and Southern Oregon University.
Sadler divides his time between Eugene and living aboard a boat in Friday Harbor, Wash.
