Drugs - Cindy Jean Connelly, 44, of Olympia, Wash. Medford police arrested Connelly Friday and charged her with possession of amphetamine and third-degree theft. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $6,000 bail.

Drugs - Michelle Rae Hewitt, 41, of the 400 block of North Fifth Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Hewitt Friday and charged her with possession of amphetamine. She was jailed on $5,000 bail.

Drugs - Charles Ray Harkins, 41, no address listed. Medford police arrested Harkins late Friday and charged him with possession of amphetamine and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was jailed on $9,000 bail.

Drugs - Mary Christine Carney, 42, no address listed. Medford police arrested Carney late Friday and charged her with possession of amphetamine. She was jailed on $5,000 bail.

Sex crime - Jackson County sheriff's deputies took a report Friday of a sex offense that took place in the Jackson County area.
