Plexis Healthcare Systems has promoted Paula Weldon and Chad Soares as the company consolidates its design, analysis and training programs.
Weldon has been named director of design, analysis and training at Plexis. She has been with Plexis for nearly three years and served as a design analyst, project manager, business analyst and
training coordinator. Weldon supervises software designers, business analysts, training programs and technical writers.
She has participated in more than 20 client implementations and provided on-site assistance to Plexis clients in the United States and the Caribbean as an application trainer, business analyst
and project manager.
Prior to joining Plexis, Weldon served as a technical support specialist, medical systems consultant, and applications manager at the Medford Clinic .
Soares has been named Quantum Choice product director. He has been with Plexis for six years and served as engineering product manager prior to his promotion.
In his new position, Soares supervises a team of software designers and engineers developing Quantum Choice, Plexis new software product that employs Net and N-tier technologies to address
emerging products in the health-care industry.
Prior to joining Plexis, Soares studied technical electronics in the U.S. Army and worked in the software industry for more than 10 years.
Tim Womack recently joined Pulver & Leever Real Estate, one of Southern Oregons oldest real estate firms.
Womack grew up in Oregon and Colorado. He holds a bachelors degree in management from Northwest Christian College and a masters degree in education policy and management from the
University of Oregon.

South Valley Bank & Trust has promoted Bob Foote to vice president and senior commercial loan officer.
Foote will continue helping clients with business banking as a relationship manager at the Navigators Landing Regional Financial Center in Medford.
Derek DeBoer, director of operations at Dollar GMC Trucks & Oldsmobile, has been elected president of the Medford New Car Dealers Association.
DeBoer has worked in the automotive industry for eight years.
Brent Waler, general manager of Medford BMW, has been elected vice president. He has worked in the automotive field for 29 years.
Robby D. Harfst, a financial adviser for Raymond James Financial Services Inc. in Ashland, has been named to the firms 2005 Leaders Council.
He joined Raymond James in 2002 and has more than 13 years experience in financial and investment services.
Therese Strohmer has joined national lender First Horizon Home Loans Ashland office as a relationship manager.
She has more than 12 years of experience in the field. Before joining First Horizon, she was mortgage loan manager at Rogue Federal Credit Union and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
She is a member of the Womens Council of Realtors and teaches ABCs of Home Buying classes through Access Inc. Strohmer holds a bachelors degree in history from Southern Oregon
University.

Medford Allstate Insurance agent Mike Galante received the agencys Hands in the Community award for his commitment to volunteering.
The award also includes a $500 grant from the Allstate Foundation for Living Opportunities Inc., where Galante volunteers.
