Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Leland Douglas Chan, 23, of the 8600 block of Wagner Creek Road, Talent. Chan appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with manufacture of marijuana. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Identity theft — Abraham Daniel Chapman, 27, of the 600 block of Garfield Street, Medford. Chapman appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with identity theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Assault, hit-and-run — James Josiah Low, 21, of the first block of Attix Circle, Central Point. Low appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with second-degree assault, third-degree assault, injury hit-and-run and hit-and-run. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Theft — Cheryl Anne Rangel, 43, of the 1900 block of Prune Street, Medford. Rangel appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Theft — Bobby Shane Orvis, 25, of the 700 block of West Fourth Street, Medford. Orvis appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Mistreatment — Lucy Lee Spence, 52, of the 1800 block Poplar Drive, Medford. Spence appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree criminal mistreatment and second-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Theft — Roberta Linn Teresi, 39, of the 900 block of Alba Drive, Medford. Teresi appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Theft — David Martin Teresi, 38, of the 1800 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Teresi appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Sheila Anne Weathers, 42, of the 200 block of Talent Avenue, Talent. Weathers appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with two counts of possession of synthetic drugs, possession of tranquilizers and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Assault — Rebecca Mae Bailey, 42, of the 1300 block of Far West Avenue, Central Point. Central Point police Tuesday arrested Bailey on charges of fourth-degree felony assault and harassment. She was lodged in jail and released after posting bail.
  • Sex offender — Larry Max Prisbrey, 58, of the 9500 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Tuesday arrested Prisbrey on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $5,000 bail.
