Estremado snares 12th triumph

WHITE CITY -- Dan Estremado grabbed his 12th winged modified win of the season Saturday night at the Southern Oregon Speedway, coming one step closer to clinching the season's points championship.

With only three points races remaining in the season, Estremado leads second-place Mark Wauge by 82 points, and is 116 points ahead of third place Dave Duste Sr.

Bob Dees recorded his first career win in the pro stocks division. Dees started the race in ninth and took over the lead with only two laps remaining. Brian Poppa finished second and points leader Gary Rotarius took third.

In the B main event, Chris Charlton picked up his second win with Frank Word III taking second and Mike Petray third.

Patrick Lanigan scored his seventh A main mini-stocks win of the season with points leader Tracy Bradley finishing second and Eric Bray taking third. Top honors in the B main event went to Dean Combs with Randy Tharp in second and Wayne Kniffen third.

In the super trucks series, Lindsey Bryant grabbed his fifth win of the season with Harvey Foster in second and Roger Lee third. Points leader John Wayne Cahill finished fourth.

Jon Debenedetti took home his seventh win in the dwarf car feature. Tom King took second place and Chris Salyer finished third.
