Marvin A. Copple
The funeral for Marvin A. Copple will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints -- Brookhurst Chapel.
Bishop John Vial of the Medford 4th Ward will officiate. Interment
will follow in Stearns/Wagner Creek Cemetery in Talent.
Mr. Copple, 81, of Medford, died Wednesday (July 14, 1999) at
Medford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
He was born Nov. 17, 1929, in Salt Lake City.
On Feb. 11, 1940, in Yuma, Ariz., he married Melba Rae Sorensen,
who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1990.
Mr. Copple was a heavy equipment/shop foreman in the rock, sand and
gravel industry.
He was a member of the Medford 4th Ward of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Copple enjoyed gunsmithing, hunting, fishing and vegetable
gardening.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include four sons, Neil A.,
Medford, Jon C., Central Point, Van A., Norco, Calif., and Robert M.,
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; a daughter, Cheryl Copple, Gillette, Wyo.; a
brother, Jack, Hemet, Calif. 25 grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Camile Rae Culleeney, died June 10, 1999. He was also
preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may pay their respects at 10 a.m. Monday in the Brookhurst
Chapel.

William N. Dahlstrom
William N. Dahlstrom, 88, of Medford, died Thursday (July 15, 1999)
at his home. No service is planned.

He was born Sept. 2, 1910, in Pine City, Minn.
On Oct. 19, 1941, in Reno, Nev., he married Rosemary Morris, who
survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1957 from Cottage Grove.
Mr. Dahlstrom worked in road construction for the state of Oregon.
He was a life member of Medford Elks No. 1168 and the Veterans of
Foreign Wars No. 1383 in Klamath Falls.
Mr. Dahlstrom enjoyed hunting, fishing and rock collectings.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Bill, Vancouver,
Wash.; a daughter, Jeanette Jones, Honolulu; a sister, Carrie Madsen,
Hood River; a brother, Cliff, Pine City, Minn.; one grandchild; and
two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and
two sisters.

Bette J. Rothermel
The memorial service for Bette Jane Rothermel will be at 11 a.m.
today in the First Baptist Church of Phoenix. Pastor Dale Adams will
officiate. Interment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Rothermel, 73, of Phoenix, died Wednesday (July 14, 1999) at
Three Fountains Nursing Home in Medford from complications from
diabetes.

Phoenix, 306 West First St., Phoenix, OR 97535.
She was born Bette Swain on Jan. 26, 1926, in Franklin, N.H. She
attended Keen Teachers College in New Hampshire for one year.
On Feb. 11, 1972, in Craig, Colo., she married John Rothermel, who
survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1990 from Fairfield, Calif.
Mrs. Rothermel was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Phoenix, where she
enjoyed singing with the choir.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four daughters,
Kerri Herring, Bend, Donna Nudd, Billings, Mont., Rhonda Kay Kalista
and Tracy Lynn Harris, both in California; a sister, Melissa Benfeld,
in New Hampshire; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Howard Wayne Kalista; a
brother, Vaughn Dudley; and a sister, Olive Nudd.

Geno P. Struglia, 73, of Shady Cove, died Thursday (July 15, 1999)
at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford. Arrangements will be

Brandi Lee Donaldson, 27, of Central Point, died Thursday (July 15,
1999) in Rogue Valley Medical Center. Arrangements will be announced
by Memory Gardens Mortuary in Medford.
Patti Jo Steen
Patti Jo Steen, 64, of Medford, died Friday (July 16, 1999) at her
home. Arrangements will be announced by Conger-Morris Funeral
