Emily Marie Boening and Douglas Striley were married Feb. 17 at the historic Jacksonville Presbyterian Church. Pastor Doug Satre officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Lyn Boening of Jacksonville. A 1998 graduate of Cascade Christian High School, she attended Rogue Community College and Southern Oregon University in Ashland. She is the technology coordinator at Learning Quest, Inc.

The groom is the son of Patricia Striley of Sunriver and Roy Striley of Medford. A 1988 graduate of South Medford High School, he attended Southern Oregon University. He is an electrician and owns Central Electric Lighting.

Maid of honor was Dana Bigham of Medford. Best man was Scott Bevridge.

Ushers were the bride's nephew, Dallas Bell, and the groom's brother, Tyson Striley.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Jacksonville Inn.

After a wedding trip to Ixtapa, Mexico, the newlyweds are living in Medford.
