Conspiracy theorist David Ray Griffin arrives in Ashland tonight to talk about the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in New York and Washington, D.C.

The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Britt Ballroom at Southern Oregon University, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd. Cost is $10 general, $5 for students.

Griffin, professor emeritus of philosophy of religion and theology at Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, Calif., is considered a proponent of arugments that the government covered up the truth behind the attacks.

He is author of “Debunking 9/11 Debunking: An Answer to Popular Mechanics and Other Defenders of the Official Conspiracy Theory.”
