A plan to build a 1.7-mile greenway along Larson Creek in Medford goes to the City Council today.

The council meets at noon in Room 151 of the Lausmann Annex, 200 S. Ivy St. The meeting is open to the public.

A Portland landscape architect and city public works employees are presenting a plan for the path to the council. It would involve securing several easements and possibly demolishing a duplex.

The path would run along Larson Creek between North Phoenix Road and Bear Creek. It would connect to proposed paths in Medford’s Southeast Plan on the east end and the Bear Creek Greenway on the west.
