Neighbors near the future home of South Medford High School are the target of a meeting in Medford tonight.

The school district has called the meeting at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of the current high school, 815 S. Oakdale Ave.

It plans to build the new school on 42 acres at the corner of South Columbus and Cunningham avenues and hopes to gather feedback from neighbors about how the campus might affect them.

Potential topics include traffic, noise and lighting.

The district has set aside $79 million to build the school. Construction could begin in the summer of 2010.
