All those strong little legs and their soccer balls return to the Rogue Valley this weekend for the annual Rogue Valley Soccer Cup.

The 14th annual youth tournament will bring more than 160 teams from five states to Southern Oregon for the three-day event.

Thousands of people stay in the area because of the event, filling hotels and increasing the waiting times at local restaurants until the tournament ends Monday.

Tourism advocates estimate they bring about $3 million into the local economy over the weekend.

Look for teams out all weekend on 18 fields around Medford and Ashland, including North Medford High, Fichtner-Mainwaring Park, Jefferson Elementary, Kennedy Elementary and Ashland Middle School.
