Marty passed away at the age of 50 on Monday, June 18, 2007 in Medford, Ore. He was born in Panorama City, Calif. on July 27, 1956.
Marty helped the community in multiple ways by being a part of organizations such as: Oregon Action, a non-profit that works on issues which profoundly influence people's lives jobs, health care, housing, hunger, criminal justice, taxes and an entire range of social and economic justice issues. He also dedicated his time to RVCDC, Homeless Day in the Park, Multi-Cultural Fair, and drug and alcohol recovery. Marty had 15 years of a healthy, clean and sober life.
At the time of his death Marty was self-employed in his painting business. Marty was the designer of the ten foot diameter Earth Balloon. He enjoyed the freedom and escape of music, children, dancing, movies and world peace.
Marty is survived by his children, Katrina Bertolino and Sonny Mosenthiem; his mother, Mrs. Bonnie Tobin (Lowell); his father, Kurt Mosenthiem; a sister, Linda Sands; and brothers Joe Wood, David Wood and Kurt Mosenthiem Jr.
