Drugs — Matthew Oden Spencer, 37, of the 600 block of Lozier Lane, Medford. Spencer reported to Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of a weapon. He was released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Spencer Eric Richard Shaw, 28, of the 300 block of W. 2nd St., Medford. Shaw reported to Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methadone. He was released on his own recognizance. Fugitive ­— Stephen Paul Leroy, 48, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Leroy Friday for being a California fugitive. He was lodged in county jail without bail. Drugs — Stephanie Jean Lindsley, 43, of the 100 block of Mallory Lane, Shady Cove. Lindsley was indicted at Jackson County Circuit Court Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. Rape — Victor Evangelos Matoush, 40, of the 1700 block of Concord Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Matoush Saturday on charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sex abuse and coercion. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday in lieu of $2 million bail. Assault — Michael Paul Bales, 31, of the 1700 block of Meadows Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Bales Saturday on charges of fourth-degree felony assault, second-degree assault and third-degree assault. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday in lieu of $1 million bail. Felony DUI — John Boze Madden, 44, of the 1400 block of Sterling Creek Road, Jacksonville. Talent police arrested Madden Saturday on charges of felony driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday in lieu of $31,000 bail. Fugitive — John Matthew Thompson, of an unknown address. Medford police arrested Thompson Saturday for being a fugitive from California on a parole violation. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail without bail. Fugitive — Mark Steve Groppi, 51, of the 300 block of Jackson St., Weed. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Groppi Saturday for being a fugitive from California for failing to appear in court on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail without bail.
