Lois Moeller, 86, of Anaheim, passed away Friday, July 13, 2007.
Lois was born September, 1920 in Blue Island, Illinois. She was the widow of Joe Moeller, who preceded her in death after 26 years of marriage. In 1974, Lois remarried Frank McChesney, who passed away in 2003 after a marriage of 30 years.
In the early 1950s, she was a State and National Archery Champion. Lois retired from the transportation department from Douglas Aircraft after 15 years of service. She was active in golf, billiards and bache ball. Lois also enjoyed traveling, knitting and quilting.
Lois is survived by her two sons, Gary Moeller of New Port Beach and Joe Moeller of San Jaun Capistrano, both of Calif.; one daughter, Karen Schalyo of Sahuarita, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Nancy Lango of Anchorage, Alaska and Mildred Munro of Jacksonville, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lois will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a true friend to many. She always thought of others first, was an optimist and had a wonderful sense of humor. Lois made a lasting impression on our hearts. She was an inspiration and will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.
