Kristine M. Larson



Kristine M. Larson passed away on July 19, 2007 in Central Point, Ore., at age 84, following a series of hospitalizations.



Funeral services will be Monday, July 23, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd., Medford.



She was born on January 16th, 1923 in Ruthton, Minn. She was the daughter of Jens and Carri Gammelgarrd. She along with nine siblings were raised on a farm in Wabasso, Minn. during the Great Depression and the second World War. After graduating from high school, she moved to the Rogue Valley where she met and married Ole L. Larson, her husband of 63 years.



They raised three children, Loraine C. Morkert of Washougal, Wash., Donald K. Larson of Walla Walla, Wash. and Ronald O. Larson of Ashland, Ore.



Kristine was a very strong person with high moral values. She was kind and helped those in need. She was devoted wife and mother that always put her families wants and needs before hers. She loved to crochet, paint and in her younger years, travel around the United States in her RV. Kristine worked for 13 seasons at the Rogue Valley Cannery and 19 years for the 3-M Company in White City. She retired from 3-M in 1985.



Kristine is survived by her husband, Ole; five siblings; her three children; along with eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four siblings and one great-granddaughter.
