Ridpath



Robert "Bob" Murray Kidpath, 49, of Rogue River, Ore. died July 16, 2007 at his residence.



A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 28, 2007 at Allen Mortuary in Turlock, Calif. Contributions can be made to the Ridpath Fund Scholarship/Washington Mutual.



Robert was born on January 25, 1958 in Alhambra, Calif. to Jack and Mary Lou Ridpath. He was raised in Turlock, Calif. and recently moved to the Wimer area with his wife and kids to expand their Goat Ranching Operation. He married Kimberly Barton on September 24, 2000, who survives him. His occupations included a correctional officer, Owens and Minor, route driver, VSS Emultech-plant operator, and rancher. His hobbies included raising registered boer goats, showing his goats, hunting and spending time with his sons. He was a member of the International Boer Goat Association, American Meat Goat Association and the American Boer Goat Association. He was in the Army Reserve for six years.



Survivors include his sons, Robert Ridpath, Jr. of Ames, Iowa, Brandon and Blake Ridpath, both of Rogue River, Ore.; sisters, Terri Strickler of Merced, Calif. and Nanci Pena of Tracy, Calif.; two nieces; and grandmother, Virginia E. Whalen of Palm Springs, Calif.



His father, Jack M. Ridpath precedes him in death.
