Education is a walk in the park when you join with a naturalist on a stroll through Lithia Park.

Learn about the park’s trees, flowers, birds, climate, water, geology and history in a 11/2-hour free nature walk lead by employees of the Ashland Parks and Recreation Department. Participants meet at 10 a.m. at the park entrance next to the Plaza in Ashland. Similar walks are set each Wednesday and Friday through Sept. 30. For more information call 488-0231.
