EUGENE — Rogue Valley took a seesaw battle into the final period, but the Eugene Generals scored five unanswered goals to upend the Wranglers 9-4 at Lane EC Rink.

Pavle Ogrizovich tied the game 4-all in the beginning of the final period for the Wranglers (0-4) on a pass from Robert Reiber.

Rogue Valley's leading scorer Nate Schursky netted a short-handed goal to tie the contest 1-all in the first period. After Eugene answered with two straight goals to close the period, Schursky found the back of the net again on an unassisted goal and then assisted Mickey Allison a few minutes later to knot it at 3-all.

Eugene dominated offensively, outshooting the Wranglers 67-34. Rogue Valley goalie Josh Powell recorded 46 saves, but was charged with the loss.
