Colleen Val Kahili



Surrounded by her family at home, Coleen Kahili died peacefully on Sept. 23, 2007. She was a world traveler, favoring her time in Hawaii. She never met a stranger. The organizational skills she used raising five children were used later in life putting together family reunions and joyful gatherings.



She was married for 47 years to the love of her life, Henry Kahili, who survives. She is also survived by her children, Teresa Mitchell and her husband, Terry; Georgia Montgomery and her husband, Jack; and, Bill Totten, grandchildren, Michael Mitchell and his wife, Ambra; Corey Totten; Courtney Surgeon and her husband, Andrew. Surviving great-grandchildren are Jade Mitchell; Kada Holstein; and Cloie Surgeon; and extended family members, Sandra Pugh and Donna Shimkus. Preceding her in death were two sons, Russell P. Davis and Kevin J. Kahili.



She was a long time member of Christ Unity Church. Everyone who knew her will miss her sparkling eyes, infectious smile and lively presence. The family wishes to thank Providence Hospice with special love to Lorraine and Cyndy.



A memorial service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at 12:00 noon at Perl Siskiyou Blvd., Medford, Ore. Intenment will be immediately following at Eagle Point National Cemetery. The reception was held at 7874 Colonial Way, Central Point, Ore.
