Brooke Renee Carrigan and Craig Jackson were married June 2 at the Medford Friends Church in Medford. Luke Ankeny, a friend of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of David and Cindy Carrigan of Medford. A 1997 graduate of North Medford High School, she received a bachelor's degree in art in 2001 from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colo. She is the first assistant women's basketball coach at Furman University in Greenville, S.C.

The groom is the son of Steve and Elaine Smith of Corvallis and Larry Jackson of Shedd. A 1987 graduate of Central Linn High School in Halsey, he received a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 1997 from Willamette University in Salem. He is the head coach of women's basketball at Montreat College in Montreat, N.C.

Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Jill and Tori Carrigan, both of Medford.

Groomsmen were Mike Thornicroft of Portland and Danny Pate of Hamilton, Ohio. Ushers were Fred Nesbitt of Albany, and the groom's brother-in-law, Joe Corrado of Albany.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the church. That evening, the newlyweds hosted a reception at R-Haus in Grants Pass.

After a wedding trip to the Steamboat Inn on the Umpqua River, the newlyweds are living in Greenville, S.C.
