Phyllis Carolee Ellis



Phyllis Carolee Ellis passed away on August 27, 2007, at her home in Portland, Ore. She was born on June 30, 1934 in Butte Falls to parents Gladys and Ray Treffen, who preceded her in death.



In 1954, she married Lawrence J. Ellis in Medford. She was a homemaker all her life, and devoted herself to being the best mom in the world. Friends and family will remember her for always being there when they needed her. In addition to making her house a home, Phyllis devoted herself to AlAnon, the Elks Club, and her family. Additionally, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and Jeopardy.



She is survived by her sister, Verna Hamstra, of White City; daughter, Cheryl Ellis-Bowen; son, Jamie Ellis; two grandchildren, Rachel and Daniel Anthony; and four great-grandchildren, Travis, Jesey, Joshua, and Emily. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Ellis; and her loving son, Jeffrey S. Ellis.



A living memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007 at 400 Ardmore Drive, Medford, OR 97504, and call 503-327-8350 for questions.



She will be missed.
