A free recital is set at 3 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Fifth and Oakdale streets, featuring violinist Larry Stubson and pianist Laurie Hunter.

The program will include sonatas for violin and piano by Brahms, Schumann and Grieg.

An hour later in Ashland, violinist Arlene Tayloe and pianist Dorothea Hover-Kramer perform at the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 87 Fourth St.

Their concert is a fundraiser for the fellowship's music fund and also to support arts in the schools, so donations are requested.
