Theft, burglary, vehicle theft — Casey Nathaniel Brooks, 27, of the 600 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Brooks appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft, first-degree burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $60,000 bail. Assault — Mark Shane Johnston, 42, of the 600 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Monday arrested Johnston on charges of third-degree assault, felony assault of a police officer, harassment, resisting arrest and hit-and-run. He was lodged in jail on $37,000 bail. Assault — Jessie David Stines, 28, of the 100 block of Cottage Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Stines on five counts of resisting arrest, three counts of harassment, three counts of felony assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail. Vehicle theft, coercion — Shane Nathan Tucker, 26, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Tucker on charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of reckless endangering, two counts of coercion, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail on $30,000 bail. Drugs — David Michael Jacobs, 53, of the 1700 block of Mill Creek Drive, Prospect. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Jacobs on charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence of intoxicants and attempting to elude police. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $14,000 bail. Burglary — Casey Nathaniel Brooks, 27, of the 600 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Brooks on charges of first-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two counts of first-degree theft. He was lodged Monday in jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $35,000 bail. Burglary — Candace Ranae Boardman, 21, of the 4900 block of Cherry Lane, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Boardman on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail, where she was being held in lieu of $30,000 bail. Drugs — Eric Don Phillip Kunkle, 42, of the 900 block of Queen Anne Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Kunkle on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged Monday in jail, where he later was released on his own recognizance due to jail overcrowding. Theft — Kristopher Scott Johnson, 41, of the 1000 block of Three Pines Road, Grants Pass. Medford police Monday arrested Johnson on two counts of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $10,000 bail.
