Wildlife biologist and bat guy Tony Kerwin talks about -- what else? -- bats tonight in Ashland.

His presentation is set from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the North Mountain Park Nature Center, 620 N. Mountain Ave. The cost is $3 for kids, $5 for adults.

Kerwin will talk about the diversity of bats around the world, with a focus on Oregon bats. He’ll cover where they live, what they eat and how they make a living.

Participants will learn to make a bat house, listen to bat calls and see how a bat detector works.
