The meeting, a study session, begins at noon in Room 151 of the Lausmann Annex, 200 S. Ivy St. The meeting is open to the public.

The council is set to discuss scenarios under which it might increase hours at the Medford library, now set at 24. Possibilities include imposing a tax, although specifics have not yet been set.

County Administrator Danny Jordan and two representatives of Library Services & Systems, the company now operating libraries, are scheduled to meet with the council.
