This week, the Medford Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon need your help in locating convicted felon and wanted subject Marlon Burrell Slaffey, 29.

Slaffey has an extensive California criminal history dating back to 1992 when he was just 15.

In June, he was arrested in Medford on charges of identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was indicted on those charges on July 17, pleaded not guilty and was assigned a defense attorney. In September, a felony warrant held by the Medford Police Department was issued for failure to appear on the identity theft charges as well as charges of coercion and tampering with a witness, bail was set at $50,000.

Slaffey is described as a black male adult, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos that include "MD-Million Dollar" on his right forearm and pierced ears. The picture shown here, taken July 9, is the most recent photo available.

Area law enforcement agencies say Slaffey should be considered armed and dangerous and that if you have any information regarding him or his whereabouts, you should contact Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 800-3-DETECT (800-333-8328). Crime Stoppers will then contact the appropriate police department. This Crime Stopper's case number is MT-359.
